The #1 Choice for Live-Cell Imaging and Analysis
Empowering your Exploration. Redefining the Limits.

Holotomography is a technique that utilizes low-intensity light to acquire the refractive index of cells from multiple angles. This technology has emerged as an excellent cellular imaging solution, allowing for high-resolution imaging while maintaining the health of the cells by using low-intensity light sources. Tomocube's second-generation Holotomography, the Tomocube HT-X1, employs low-coherence light sources, ensuring lower toxicity and noise-free high-resolution image acquisition compared to laser-based methods.

The high-resolution images obtained through this technology enable real-time observation of not only the morphology of living cells but also the shapes of subcellular organelles, such as the nucleus, nucleolus, mitochondria, and lipid droplets.

The integrated stage-top incubator provides a stable cultivation environment, enabling prolonged monitoring of sensitive cells like stem cells or organoids.

Versatile Imaging Capability for Multi-Well Plates

Especially designed to maximize user flexibility, the HT-X1 employs a unique adaptive illumination module that is tailored for multi-well plates. The combination of high NA, a long working distance condenser, DMD, and a motorized illumination unit delivers an efficient illumination pattern for a diverse range of vessel types, from 35-mm dishes to 96-well plates. With the HT-X1, researchers will have more freedom to design their experiments on different sample types using any imaging vessel of their choice.

Intuitive Software with Enhanced Control

TomoStudio X works in concert with the HT-X1 platform to visualize and analyze RI tomograms. This intuitive, easy-to-use software empowers users with complete system control, allowing them to handle even the most complex experiments through simple mouse clicks. Researchers can easily set up complex time-lapse sequences, perform large-area tile imaging and stitching tasks, and image multiple points with ease using this software.

Features:

  • Label-free 3D visualization

  • Correlative fluorescence

  • Long-term timelapse

  • High-throughput screening

  • Quantitative analysis

NL5+
$0.00

Image thick samples with high contrast for long times.

The NL5 is the second generation of fast line-scanning confocal technologies. It provides high-contrast images from thicker specimens such as organoids, tissue samples, plant and animal model organisms. The gentle conditions for your live samples allow the NL5+ to excel in long time-lapse experiments and imaging low-signal samples.

The combination of camera-based detection and a set of filters allows you to acquire your images in up to six different colors. This gives you an improved temporal resolution, high sensitivity and unprecedented signal-to-noise ratio. You get even faster imaging with cleaner results, thanks to additional motorized single-band emission filters.

No pinhole crosstalk

Contrary to spinning-disk systems, another advantage of the NL5 series and its slit pinhole is that it does not lead to pinhole crosstalk when imaging deep within the sample. The NL5 series reaches 240 nm lateral resolution which can be easily converted into 170 nm with on the fly deconvolution.

NL5 is an excellent add-on to any research microscope. It allows for converting a wide-field system into a fast scanning confocal with high resolution and sensitivity.

The impact of an add-on filter

The NL5+ is a confocal system which enables even faster imaging with cleaner results. This is a direct result of one of the new functionalities: its additional motorized filter wheel.

Our system uses a line scanner, instead of a point scanner confocal microscope. This provides high temporal resolution, while at the same time reducing phototoxicity. Since phototoxicity is one of the biggest challenges for researchers, this makes the NL5+ the perfect tool for live cell imaging.

You can also add the NL5+ to any widefield microscope. This will turn it into an advanced fast-scanning confocal imaging system.

Our Story

Micro Optics of Florida has been a service and sales dealer for microscopes in the state of Florida since 1976. It was founded by Mark Fosbender as a Zeiss dealership in 1976, before he and his partner Rick Celestine signed on with Leitz-Wild Microscopes in 1980. They sold and supported the Leica line of microscope products throughout Florida from that point until 2012, when the company returned to representation of Carl Zeiss Microscopy.
